Vice President Enterprise Sales

Director Social Media Agency and Brand Business Development

 

We're seeking a mid-level professional to drive adoption of the Fanzy Facebook application with social media agencies and brand social media managers. The candidate will work closely with the founders and play a big part in the success of the company. This job is based in San Francisco

Specific responsibilities will include: 

- Conducting outreach and introducing potential targets to the Fanzy application and services
- Closing adoption of the Fanzy application and services
- Managing client relationship throughout the lifetime of the partnership
- Developing business development target lists
- Updating and improving materials introducing Fanzy and its services
- Communicating client feedback to the product team to help with product roadmap


Minimum qualifications include:

- Strong familiarity with social media marketing
- An extended network in Brands and Social Media Agencies
- Experience in selling services to social media agencies and brand social media managers
- Successful track record in business development and/or sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellence in developing relationships
- Likeability
- Sense of humor
- Experience in working in early stage start-ups
- Willingness to take responsibility for the success of the company
- Willingness to travel

Web Application Developer

 

We've built a Facebook application with over 12,000 Page installs and a quarter-million users.  We've got ambitious plans for turning this into a platform, using Ruby, Sinatra, Rails and related tools.

We're seeking one or more developers to help us realize this vision over the course of the next several months. We’re looking for people who want to join our team full-time, but will consider contracting freelancers.  Ideally, you’re located (or want to be) in either San Francisco, CA or Paris, France, but we’re open to telecommuters.

Must-haves:

  • Proven full-stack Web development expertise using Ruby on Rails, with all that implies (relational databases/SQL, object-relational mapping, HTTP, REST architectural principles, HTML, CSS, jQuery, RSpec etc.) or:
  • exceptional front-end development skills, and experience integrating with Web application development teams
  • Familiarity with test-driven development
  • Proficiency with a version control system
  • A desire to craft quality software

Extra credit:

  • Solid Web development experience with another language and platform, e.g., PHP & Zend/CakePHP/Kohana/Symfony or Python & Django
  • Experience with work queues, event-driven frameworks, NoSQL data stores, or other complementatry technologies
  • Familiarity with the Facebook Open Graph, Twitter or other APIs
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services: EC2, S3 etc.
  • Experience with git
  • Mac OS X as development platform
  • Exposure to Scrum and/or Extreme Programming

Community and Biz Dev Manager Internship (French Stage in Paris)

 

We're seeking a "stagiaire" from a French ecole de commerce to handle our french facebook and twitter user community. The intern will also be responsible for French biz dev relationships including TF1, M6, NRJ, EMI, Warner, Universal, Sony and more... The intern will work very closely with the co-founders.

Specific responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Conducting outreach and introducing potential targets to the Fanzy application and services
  • Closing adoption of the Fanzy application and services
  • Managing client relationship throughout the lifetime of the partnership
  • Developing business development target lists
  • Updating and improving materials introducing Fanzy and its services
  • Communicating client feedback to the product team to help with product roadmap
  • Testing the app.
  • Monitoring contests.
  • Occasional PA tasks.


Minimum qualifications include:

 

  • Strong familiarity with facebook and twitter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellence in developing relationships
  • Likeability
  • Sense of humor
  • Willingness to take responsibility for the success of the company

 

The potential applicant will need diplomacy and patience to deal with queries from eager fans and of course a good knowledge of our app to be able to explain how it works, both to users and page admins. You need to speak English fluently. The position is available immediately in our Paris office.
